Great video! Have you had any problem with heat transfer from the fire table to the composite decking below? I've been looking exclusively at concrete tables because I'm worried aluminum ones will get too hot for the deck.

Joist ledger, and beam size are dictated by load not room allowed. The size is a result of the load. You should instruct your viewers to refer to span charts in the IRC instead of just just using "X". It takes less than a minute to find on the internet. Also don't use the window edge to determine where to put ledger bolts. Once again, refer to the IRC, 1 minute search. You failed to mention to ledger bolt location interference with joist install. Then you secured your ledger to the OSB sheathing? WTF?HARD NO. I stopped watching after that. Do yourself a favor and go find another video for instruction. This video is horrible.

The last time I had a battle with raccoons on my roof I actually climbed out the window and sprinkled ex-lax all over the place. The next time they came back was the last time I saw them. Grantes, you have to clean up a bunch of sickly poop and vomit but it gets rid of them.

Raccoons have chewed a hole in the back porch roof, have cause water damaged to the inside. They are in the ceiling in the house between floors. Fixed the roof. now made a hole in the roof again by climbing up the rain gutters. I have to hire someone to fix this problem. Trapping in next !

Does the inducer fan need some kind of sealant when replacing as well?

Can you use this process over exisiting asphalt that has sunken? I’m assuming the liner wouldn’t be needed it so?

I'm getting water leaking down from the the exhaust pipe from the inductor motor pipe. I was wondering the pipes from both the intake and exhaust are blocked.

I’ve seen this product in stores and I don’t see what makes it so much better than regular cold patch that can be bought at 10-13 USD for a 50# bag. I’ve got regular cold patch on my driveway that’s 9 years old and still holding up fine.. I just don’t see spending that kinda money on a pothole

Love this project. I have a 10’ x 40‘ and 12” deep area. One side will be against the house foundation while the other three (3) sides will be against wood (drainage considerations). My questions: -Recommended fill materials, type, height of each material, etc.? -Drainage solutions on the wood sections (where the patio stones will meet the wood)? Need to complete the above before laying the patio stones down. Thank you in advance! Jim
